∙ 10y agoWhen you get a DUI, DWI, or open container, there's typically a license suspension period which follows afterwards. Once this suspension period is over, and you've met all the conditions for reinstatement of your license (including payment of reinstatement fees), you can get a CDL 30 days later (you must hold a valid DL in your state of residence for at least 30 days before that state can issue you a CDL). However, if you don't have at least five years between your DUI/DWAI/open container conviction and the time you're trying to find a CDL job, you're only wasting your time and money - nobody will hire you for any driving job, least of all, a CDL driving job.

∙ 10y agoAn open container ticket in Indiana could be up to a 250 fine and up to three points on your license. It may be wise to get an attorney for this offense.
Yes, you can. Receiving an Open Container ticket is for having an open container.
Each city in Texas has their own fees for an open container ticket. In Houston, TX, the fine for an open container is $270.00 dollars.
Not necessarily, because you can actually get an open container violation ticket even if you are not driving or do not have a drivers license. By default, it is just a ticket, but being that it is alcohol it depends on the level of intoxication. Ie, if you're a few blocks from your drive way and crack open a beer, you'l be fine; but even 0.001 over is still a DUI and will result in license lost for a bare minimum of the completion of a DUI program which typically includes M.A.D.D. classes, community service, and fees.
