leave it in its egg without touching it but you can open the egg make sure you thoroughly cover it in its goo as that is its food bed well that is what it uses to live if the goo dries out it will not die but still leave it in if the egg steams up do not worry always check that on the aliens back there is a sort of streak as this means it is definitely alive it may be alive anyway.
