Get into the car, turn the key to the on position (without turning the engine on) and wait until the seat belt reminder light goes off (about a minute). Then buckle and unbuckle the seat belt 9 times within 50 seconds ending in the unbuckled position. Then the light flashes a few times real quick. Then buckle and unbuckle the seat belt within 7 seconds of the light turning off and it should be good to go. This is at least how to do it on a 2011. Just because you disable the seat belt reminder doesn't mean your not going to wear the seat belt. An adult in America is quite capable of knowing when/how to buckle up without a chime reminding them.

To stop the seat belt chime in a 1993 Ford Thunderbird, you can locate the seat belt chime module, which is typically found under the dashboard. Disconnecting the module or removing its fuse can silence the chime, but be aware that this may disable other safety features. Alternatively, some owners opt to bypass the system by cutting the wires leading to the chime. Always ensure that any modifications you make do not compromise your vehicle's safety.
