No this is not normal at all. It is very likely that you are suffering from insomnia, or have taken some sort of drug (like drinking too much Rockstar, or coffee or anything with high amounts of caffeine, Taurine or any drug containing an amphetamine) that is ruining your sleep cycle. I would recommend speaking to your doctor about this condition because there is likely something he can do.
