Answer

You can't really compare education and sociology.

Sociology is a branch of sciene which studies the behavoir of populations at large. This would include such things as 'Group Think'.

Education is an institution in learning and teaching occurs.

We would learn about sociology in a social studies class, but that is about as far as the comparison can be made. Sociology studies very large populations of people, like all the people of an entire country or all of the people in a total population that fit certain criteria.

The study of psychology would be more useful to understand a single persons behavoir or experiences when trying to teach them something.

Both sociology and education focus on studying human behavior and social interactions. They both explore how individuals interact with society and institutions, and how societal structures impact individuals. Additionally, both disciplines emphasize the importance of understanding and addressing social inequalities and injustices.
