Modern day "grunge" is no longer called "grunge".... Modern day bands with stylings similar to grunge are classified as "post grunge"....
You pronounce grunge grŭnj.
The Grunge Years was created in 1991.
Most of the grunge bends that played in the '90s still play today, even Nirvana, as the two left members have their own bands. Also Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, Alice in Chains. This on the one hand means that grunge is still played today. On the other hand I think that grunge is not only a rock genre, it is a movement. I feel pretty grunge today, as we confrunt the same problems. I think that real things in nature don't disappear, only transform. I think that grunge has been assimilated in new genres. One good example is Nine Black Alps that I think is real
Nirvana is the best grunge band ever.
"I like listening to grunge metal"
