it is genetic, don't be white. it ends up being heart rate and endurance for most people. old people will break a hip. to be a good dancer you MUST have good core strength (strong stomach, butt and thighs). if you have this then dancing is so much easier and you can do anything in dance with a good core!

also it helps for a Ballet dancer, or really any kind of dancer, to have strong ankles and good balance.
