It's commonly called "tin foil" (originally it was made of tin) but it is actually aluminium foil, rolled to a thickness of (typically) less than 0.02 mm.

Tin Foil
In tin foil so it cools faster
You wrap tin around the trunk of the tree
Bronze tin and a little silver
Tin foil is not a thermal insulator and so is irrelevant to the question.Bubble wrap is a better insulator at low temperatures but as the temperature increases bubble wrap will simply melt and provide no insulation at all.
You can wrap the pan with foil, but I would get the foil as tight as possible by crimping it around the sides as much as possible. If it is leaking severely I would suggest getting a new pan.
YEd it is actually. If you eat too much you will get sock and it does not feel so good.
