Yes, you can get it back for free without paying for it more than once. Just click on the 'Buy' button, and then go through the entire process like you are acting like you are going to actually pay for it again, and then when it is trying to download it the iPod Touch will ask you that you already paid for it and if you want to download it for free again or cancel the action.
