It means that he's sort of interested in you, just not alot. Keep your eyes open for him. If he keeps staring then ask him out, or ask him why he's staring at you. You'll always get your answer by asking.

He may have caught you looking at him that once and interpreted it wrongly, for instance he may have thought you were checking him out or trying to catch his gaze/attention. He probably is really into you and now thinks that you are at least slightly into him, so staring you down around 10 times was either to catch your gaze again or look for some sort of confirmation that you were checking him out/giving him attention, he may have even felt you looking at him was a sort of free pass to stare at you whenever. It's a rather creepy way to act but it makes sense in a teenage boy's mind.

I will however, say that there may be times where the stare is not returned because the girl is not comfortable flirting with the idea of acknowledging it, even though it gives her all kinds of crazy rad feelings. If you find yourself staring at a girl and expecting her to react you should just tell her verbally whatever it is you're trying to sendto her with your eyes. But try and tell her when there's no one else around cause she might be shy (or she probably would have said wtf you staring at?).

I know what you mean. You like this person who looks at you times and you can't tell if it's just "normal eye contact or a crush. The other option is also because you stare at this person alot that he/she is freaked out and checks to see if you are still staring at him/her. If he/she is looking at you with a smile, then it could be a crush. If he/she just looks at you, I advise you to stop staring. Yeah yeah you can't help it, but it's really not fair to make the other person feel uncomfortable. If it's a crush their eyes will be sparkly (if you know what I mean), otherwise check how other people look at you and compare it to how this person looks at you.

Im a guy like this girl who sits directly behind you in class how can you find out if she likes you without letting her find out that you like her?
This is a two sided question. Casually turn your head around several times over the period of a couple days-have you caught her staring at you? Look into her eyes-does it feel soulful? If she is directly behind you, as you are passing papers backwards pass them back and as you hand them to her look directly into her eyes. How does she stare back? Does she avoid your eyes (shyness) ? Does her glance seam empty? If it's the latter of the two most likely that's a no go roger. Be optimistic if she's just the shy type. Be an alpha male- try striking up conversation. I hate to be blunt but if you are NOT at all attractive and she is the cheerleading type then she could just be staring at you because when you are not that attractive then you become an ugly magnet.
