well if you haven't started your period yet, its probably signs of that. Or if you have, it might be signs that you period is starting back up again. Or if your a guy....i'm not sure

you only count days with blood spotting, the brown spotting may occur when you change your diet or over exercise your self. i asked my doctor about the 14th day brown spotting and she said its nothing to be worried about, i guess that should apply to your case.

You could be pregnant. I had brown spotting 10 days before my period was suppose to start. 5 days later I took a First Response (5 days before your missed period) and it came back positive. If you take it that early and it comes out negative, it could be a false negative. It is still best to wait 5 to 10 days after a missed period. Good luck!
