Also, most people think that the guy should make the first move, although it is perfectly fine for a girl to ask out a guy. However, this can make it awkward because, "The guy should ask the girl out." Which is a stereotype that dates back to the times where men were viewed higher than women, and it was scandalous for a women to make the first move in a relationship. Unfortunately, some of these ideas have been carried through to this generation, so girls asking out guys is still kind of embarrassing.
