Because, even if we do live on the other side of the world, We know about Jesus being born too. We also kind of have a Christmas of our own,(It's this Monday) It's called St. Nicholas Day. Yes Kris Kringle and Santa clause and all those other Santa names are not the real one. His real name is St.Nicholas. He was a bishop. Anyway, On St.Nicholas Eve, We put out our shoes and cookies and milk (We do this slightly different from the other dutch people) Then we wait till The morning, And Lo! There are presents and candy! We have a feast for a breakfast. Any way. So St.Nicholas rides over the roofs during the night with his white horse and little moor, Black Pete. Black Pete Is Sinterklaas helper and if you are naughty, You get a switch and into the bag you go to go back to Spain with Sinterklaas.
