Unless you have moved anything the movies are stored in a folder called Movies in the iTunes Music folder which is in the iTunes folder which is in your Music folder. You can back up the movies in that folder onto a CD-R.
Open up iTunes and the folder your music is stored in. Drag and drop it from the folder into iTunes.
On a Mac it is in the iTunes folder in the Music folder. On a Windows PC it is in the Music folder (or My Music inside My Documents on Windows 7).
If they did not go into the Trash they may be in the Music folder within the iTunes Music folder within the iTunes folder in your Music section.
You need to tell iTunes where to find the songs. Open the iTunes Preferences. Click the Advanced button. Click the Change button for the location of the iTunes Media folder and navigate to the music on the D drive.
You should make a folder for the songs. Then you must have the folder open and your itunes at the same time. Highlight all of the songs in your music library, and drag them into the folder. It may take a few minutes if you have a lot of songs to transfer into the folder.
The music may be being added to an iTunes Music folder but iTunes is not finding that folder. In iTunes Preferences select the Advanced tab and click on the Change button to tell iTunes where the iTunes Music folder is located.
In your iTunes Account go to transfer purchases and then just rag and drop to the movies media folder.
Sometimes iTunes gets confused and cannot remember where your songs are so you need to give it a guiding hand. Quit the iTunes software before you start. Your songs are stored (in Mac OS X and Windows 7) in a folder called iTunes within your Music folder (in earlier versions of Windows it will be in My Music within the My Documents folder). In that iTunes folder find the file called iTunes Library and drag it out onto your desktop. Go back into the iTunes folder and find another folder called Previous iTunes Libraries. In there find the latest version (it will be called iTunes Library Year-Month-Day) and drag that out into the main iTunes folder to replace the old iTunes Library file you removed. Rename your new file iTunes Library (by removing the date part) and then relaunch the iTunes software and it should now be able to find your songs again.
once you have connected your ipod to itunes drag the music folder from your itunes and drop it to the ipod folder on the left side of itunes. this can only be done if u have installed itunes in your laptop.
Your music library is normally stored in a folder called iTunes Music which is placed in your Music folder. Deleting the iTunes software from your Applications folder will not affect your music library.
