22 hornet is a 22 calibre rifle. Most think of a 22 rifle as a rim fire rifle. But it shoots a 22 calibre bullet but the cartridge case that fires the bullet is no where near the same. The Hornet holds much more powder and is center fire.
IF THIS RIFLE HAS 2 BARRELS ABOUT $200 IF ITS AN OVER UNDER COMBO GUN ABOUT $300
Single shot break action? yes.
In short, no. I have a single shot lever action Ithaca rifle, and a turn action Garcia Bronco .22. There have been auto ejecting single shots, and a LOT of bolt action single shots. The "trapdoor" Springfield rifle was not a break action.
A single shot .22 rifle. Bolt action
Single shot bolt action .22 rifle.
No such model. Winchester did not make a 'Model 1901 single shot .22 pump-action rifle.' They made a Model 1900, Model 1902 and Model 1904, which were all single-shot bolt-action rifles, and they made the Model 1890 and Model 1906 which were slide-action rifles but had tubular magazines. The 22 Long Rifle has different size cartridges, But the 22 Hornet has pictures of deer killed with it. The 22 Hornet is a lot more powerful than the 22 Long Rifle. They both have different grain.
