At the time of his death Tupac was dating on again / off again girlfriend Kidada Jones [who was also a close friend of singer Aaliyah's].
But he also did date TLC's own Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes from 1990-1991. He even wanted to marry her, but she began dating NFL star Andre Rison after her and 2pac split up and after Tupac found out that Andre beat on Left Eye he wrote a song to her called "Can U Get Away"
which if you listen to the words, he was trying to give her a hint that she should drop Andre and just let him and the relationship go and rekindle the relationship that her and Pac shared.
That is also secretly one of the reasons she burned down Andre's Atlanta mansion in 1995, to be with Pac.
But unfortunately he was murdered on September 13,1996.
