I too own a fletcher special double barrel shotgun my research leads me to believe that the gun was made by the old Ithaca gun co. and for the true value of your gun it should be taken in and looked over the older doubles are good wall pieces and some can still be shot with the ammo BUT BE SURE TO HAVE IT INSPECTED FIRST THIS IS A MUST.
