Pain changes from person to person. The back of the knee, the ribs, the skull, palms of hands, soles of feet; are all very painful places. It doesn't matter what size you are as the pain comes from the central nervous system.

Generally tattoos over bones where there is space in between bone such as spine tattoos, rib tattoos. Also, to some, colour hurts more than black and white.

ive gotten many tattoos and the places where it seems to hurt less is where there is almost no bone. try a very fleshy place lip your arm, chest or lip.
