There are at least 9 different versions of the 1894 Carbine. Starting in 1952, made off and on again to 1994. I own 2 of them. Some were commemoratives and some were made for Sears to sell under the JC Higgins brand name. I suggest you go to the link below and ask Daisy directly and see if they have an exact date.
Daisy made a model Golden Eagle BB rifle but it was a model 104 golden Eagle from 1966-1974. Daisy made a model 88 Hunter rifle, roughly from 1957 - 1960 Daisy made a model 98 Daisy Eagle in three variations from 1955 -1960. (I think this is the rifle you are referring to.)

79919061 is the Sears Code name (799) and model(19061) for Daisy air rifle. The model number I can not verify, but model number 19062 is the "Daisy model 300." This may be your Rifle. (C02, Futuristic style, plastic stock, 5 shot) mfg 1968-1975.
