Need more info. 1911A1's started being made in the 1920's, and are still in production today. What's the serial number? What are the markings on the frame and slide? Is it blue, chrome, parkerized, etc.
now days a military serial number is the assigned social security number. find the persons social security number and you have the army serial number............
This is the only place I found for the 1911A1 model. That's seems to be a very high number for that model. http://www.sightm1911.com/1911Production.htm It would appear you listed too many numbers in the serial number. If you removed the first number '9', then it would be a Colt made in 1944
A Colt single action 1860 army with that serial number was made in 1866.
You did not provide a serial number.
Your colt single action army dates to 1881 with the serial number you provided.
Colt army .45 with that serial number was made in 1944 by Remington Rand for Colt.
No serial number data published.
serial number 1431191
I'm searching for a close serial number 800301536
1877 if it's a Single Action Army. Nothing special about the serial number.
