1929 to 1933 The Improved version of the Remington model 6 became available circa 1905, and featured a blue frame in 24 in. barrel. Production continued until 1933. The earlier models had the original case colored frame.

The model 6 was made from 1901 to 1928 and that's a fairly late serial no, they made approximately 450,000 before the improved model in 1929 started. Remington firearms can be dated- but NOT from the serial number. There is a 2 or 3 LETTER code stamped on the barrel, left side, about a quarter inch from the receiver. Go to the website for the Remington Collectors Association for the chart to translate letters to month and year.
The Remington model 121 is the improved model 12 and is still considered one of the finest 22 pump rifles made. They were made in 6 general models including those chambered for the .22 Remington Special Cartridge (.22 W.R.F) from 1936 to 1956 in quantity of approximately 200,000. In better condition they are considered quite collectible.
The Remington model 6 rifle in .22 caliber is a rifle made from 1901 to 1933 resembling the rolling block rifle. There were three grades offered, the first from 1901 to 1903 is the original model 6. The second which had a production from 1903-1929 is the Improved Model 6, and the final grade was the New Improved Model 6 which had a production from 1929-1933. They come in .22 short, .22 long, .22 long rifle, and .32R short. Some of them were made Remington- Union Metalic Cartridge company. Some versions have sights on the grip that folds upward, while other variations have a fixed sight about half of the barrel down. the fixed sight version has a U rear sight and a standard blade foresight. Caliber can be found on the left side of the barrel, serial number is (usually) found on the underside of the barrel in front of the hand guard.
There is no Remington Model 6 pistol, there has been however cases however of Remington Model 6 rifles converted to pistols by gun or "home" smiths. NOT Remington. As such the value is whatever someone will pay, but generally not much.

It was made from 1901 to 1933, it was basically a less expensive version of the model 4 to compete more competitively (price wise) with other manufactures of the time. They made nearly 500,000 of them in three variations. From 1921 they were date code stamped on the barrel the diagram of the location and the code table can be found on the Remington Society of America, if it was made before then I would need a serial to date it and then only the year would be available.
