Well you just need to let the body fix the mess that's there, this will take time. Sometimes the application of vitamin E oil on the tissue after bathing will help scar tissue break down. But as for getting it repierced, the only one who can give you a good answer is the professional body piercer looking at the piercing first hand. Any thing else is a shear guess and not worth thinking about.
Or you can do this: Get you some MINERAL oil, forget about any of the vitamin oil as the vitamins in them self destruct on hitting the air...Heat up your mineral oil a little at a time and put some on your fingers....Rub out the scarred area for twenty minutes at a time, rubbing briskly with with a little pressure so as the oil stays warm.... If you do this 3 times a day for about two months the scars should go away....Or at least be at a minimum..
THEN, get a true professional piercer to do the naval piercing!!!!!
no, that is dangerous you want to get it done again

Got my cartilage pierced 4 months ago. I had a keloid, so I switched from the surgical steel that they pierced it with, to gold. It's a hoop. Red and swollen. Keloid is gone and there is no puss. Is it still healing and just irritated? Or could the hoop be too tight?
you can be any age to have your ears pierced, a baby can have there ears pierced at 4 months old, but if you younger than 16 your parents do need to be with you... :)
