Con Ed managed the feat around I seem to recall reading l905. generally series lighting is used- if one goes out- so do all and this prevents some fire hazards inherent in mounting light bulbs in trees. It should be noted electric lighting was up and running since l879 ( founding of what is now Con Ed- then Edison lamp works) but electrified Yule lighting had a good time to wait and develop. In l895 110 volts was standardized for lighting circuits.
