When you plateau during weight lossit simply means that the amount of energy expenditure is equal to the amount of caloric/energy intake. Basically your system balances out and the only way to push through the plateau is to start exceeding the amount of burned energy over consumed. Try changing up your workout routines, add more cardio, etc. I do not recommend eating less as your body still needs a certain amount of food intake to manage daily activities. It is more beneficial to throw a changeup in your routine than to eat less.
