Blackberry provides deal alerts and other consumer related information services through their internet services. Blackberry also claims to offer speeds comparable to the leading brands.
subscribe to the BIS service from your mobile service provider. Once you do this the icons for internet and mail will automatically appear. Incase you do not want to do so, try to activate the WIFI (I do not remember if 8520 has it). That will work too.

no. blackberry messenger is not free on o2. you must change your tariff to a blackberry bolt on tariff to use blackberry messenger. i currently have a bolt on which costs £5 a month for 500mb of internet and blackberry messanger and blackberry app world.
Before you can use the internet on a Blackberry phone, you would have to register the device first for a special Blackberry Plan, as regular data plans will not work on these phones. And data plans are not free services with any service providers, including AT&T.
Yes it is. If you want to change the password but you do not remember how to log in; you need to go to the Blackberry website and request a new password by clicking the "forgotten password" link.
if you want internet on your blackberry you will have to pay £5 a moth for internet or bbm (blackberry messenger)
If you have internet on your blackberry and you have the bbm software, then you should have messenger too :)

I don't think so...
The way to subscribe to the packet data first in the C1 Nokia is by calling customer service and requesting to activate internet service. If the cell phone service is through Verizon, the customer service phone number is 1-800-837-4966.
BlackBerry phones connect to the internet through their own type of internet service, called the BlackBerry Internet Service, or BIS. Research in Motion, the company that makes BlackBerry, supplies this service through phone service providers.
You get apps on Blackberry by downloading the blackberry app store from the blackberry website. You can do this fro your computer or from the internet on your blackberry.
The Blackberry internet service is not an internet provider, so much as it is a way to access the internet or your email though the blackberry phone. You cannot comparer it to other internet providers, as you require an ISP in order to use the Blackberry one. It is more of a gateway product to allow your Blackberry to acess your emails if you are in range of a wireless network.
When you subscribe to the internet service you get the internet service. You are allowed to use the internet connection infrastructure to access servers all around the world. You have to pay for it.
It depends on your service provider
yes you would need internet with the blackberry storm one and two and im pretty sure with any blackberry with Verizon
Apparently not. I tried getting a blackberry too and they told me that I had to get internet to be able to get the blackberry. But then I soon discovered that my brother had a blackberry from T-Mobile and wasn't paying for internet because the guy at the store didn't say anything about internet. So normally you do have to have internet, but you can also get lucky. Good luck! Hope this helped
