Its very difficult to determine that because people don't always report infections. Infection is a very serious issue but not as common as people believe. Just follow your piercers instructions for cleaning it, don't touch it, stay healthy, and don't go swimming until its healed.
All piercings have risks, so there is no "real answer" for this question. With that said, I would say piercings that are at a smaller risk for infections could be the ears. I've had my nose done, and it was infected badly, also my belly button done which was irriated a lot but healed fine.I've heard a lot of people gettijg belly button infections though. Either way, it depends how your body heals, if I got an infection, you might not.I do believe a lot of face piercings are prone to infections b.c you touch them a lot.etc..so my guess is the ears b.c you don't play with them too much and more germs aren't exposed to them. Anyway, if you keep a piercing clean, and your body accepts it, any percing can be okay
Never heard of such a thing. I know plenty of people that have belly button piercings and have kids...
Quite unlikely. The people who do piercings usually haven't got the training or the licenses to put people under.
I need someone to answer
People believe they attract unwanted attention, if you show it off the wrong way can give you a bad image.Bad piercings can give you infections
piercings are a matter of personal taste
Anything that has to deal with pleasure. Genital area, chest and mouth. That's most guys. Others like belly button piercings, hip piercings, nose rings, ( studs ) and lips. Depends on the body tone and face though. Some people look right with a certain piercing, others do not.
Nobody really knows. It could be since the Stone Age times that people were putting holes into people's ears, and if not the name isn't recorded. It started with ear piercings, then other piercings.
People who get piercings typically get them because they like the look of them. Although some piercings (like genital piercings) may also serve a purpose. But in general, body modification is done just because people like the way it changes their appearances.
they like how it looks?
well to most people, no
Usually people with piercings are considered Gothic or emo, or some other stereotype. It makes people look unprofessional if they have nose, tongue or belly button piercings. It also is unsanitary because they can fall off into food if your looking into the food industry. So if you happen to have piercings, I would recommend taking them off when going to an interview.
