Either way, it depends how your body heals, if I got an infection, you might not.I do believe a lot of face piercings are prone to infections b.c you touch them a lot.etc..so my guess is the ears b.c you don't play with them too much and more germs aren't exposed to them. Anyway, if you keep a piercing clean, and your body accepts it, any percing can be okay
