When you smoke, you are not actually dealing with your stress. You are depriving your body of oxygen in order to numb your senses and not feel them anymore.

Unfortunately, the stress will be there when the fade wares off and you are introducing a new stress to the picture - addiction.

To further complicate things, you are training yourself to deal with stress by hiding behind cigarettes. This will destroy your ability to cope with stress naturally.
