The 157 was made in 2 versions from 1954 - 1967. I need to know the condition of the air pistol to be able to give an estimate of value. Does it still work? is it in Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair or Poor condition? Let me know and I will try to help you with an answer.

Answer.com has no way of displaying photos so it's best to give your best estimate. In good condition it is worth between $65 and $85 In poor condition it is worth between $45 - $30, in Excellent condition it's worth $100 - $125 and in Like New it's worth $145. So now you have an Idea.
As for future value. The above information comes from the latest #8 airgun Bluebook value. So I went back to book #2 from several years ago 2002. and it list the GOOD value at $55 - $65. So yes they do go up in value.
I've attached a link for you to download the 157 Owner's manual

This gun was manufactured between 1954-67. If you want to get it repaired go to the Crosman home page and click on "Find a service center" It will guide you to a repair location. See the related link.

The model 126.1909 was made for Sears by Crosman. In reality it is a Crosman model 150. If you want an estimate o value then you will have to give it some sort of rating like Poor. Fair, Good, Very good or Excellent. Also state if it is still working, then I can give you an estimate of value.
