I just bought one at auction for $130.00 This one is a 16 ga., excellent condition, but IS NOT a red letter model. THey do not have serial numbers, so you can't put a date on any except the red letter models, which were the first ones made, in 1937. They were made until the 60's, then followed by the 37-A, which is worth nothing. Many were sleeved for turkey shoots, and lost their colectors value. They are still out there, and the only one that is hard to find is the 28 ga. I gave up on that one years ago. Hope this helps.
The value of a Winchester model 37-A 28 gauge is dependent upon a number of things. Some of these things would include the age and condition of the Winchester.
