Value of a 51 (like all collectible firearms) is greatly dependent on condition, condition, and condition. For the most part the 2 calibers are generally worth the same value. A 100% (mint) 51 is currently worth in the $600 dollar range if however you have the original box and accessories it could add 2-300 to it's value. Once the condition drops to 90% is nearly down to half of it's value and drops quickly down in value for lesser conditions. The 51 is as I mentioned is a collectible unless it's a complete beater it's always worth at least $200.
