About $285 at Gunsatcost.com
I am told by my local gunsmith, they were made from 1930-33. His guess on the value is apx. 270-285 depending on condition. He also told me if a scope was put on it, it would decreese the value of the gun.

If your Mossberg is a bolt action shotgun, about $80-100. These are well built utility grade guns- no major collector interest, but durable and reliable.

Between 175-285 dollars, depending on overall condition and a good bore.
The stainless 2206 is worth about $285 in good condition. It is more sought after than the blued model 422 or the alloy 622.
IIRC, Coast to Coast sold one with that model number.
up to $150
well about $500 if great and 450 if it's good. all and all great gun.
when was this model first madeI am told by my local gunsmith, they were made from 1930-33. His guess on the value is apx. 270-285 depending on condition.
Since the 1977 model serial numbers start at: 9A254045, and the 1978 model numbers start at: 9A276935, my best guess would be that your MF-285 is a 1977 model. Source page: http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/000/7/7/775-massey-ferguson-285.html
