I believe it's a Crosman 140. But you need to tell me the condition of the Rifle to give you and answer to it's value. Is It Excellent (Like new) Fair ( Some use) Poor ( scratched & dented with rust) If I am right it's a pump with a two piece wooden stock. Contact me on my message board and I'll try to help you. What is the value of hawthorne m 130 22 caliber pellet gun?

I kid you not. I see maybe one in a thousand questions about air gun that ask about the Montgomery Ward Hawthorne brand Air gun. Unfortunately my catalogues sources has very little to say about the crossover brand. I do know that all the airguns for Wards were made by Crosman air gun company under the Hawthorne brand name. My books only list 10 crossover models, but I know there were more. Of the 10 listed only one is a pistol and that a Crosman 38T or 38C. it looks like an old Colt 38 firearm. This may be your pellet gun. ( Both of these came in .177 and .22 caliber.) Now as for value. It's hard to set an estimated value without more information about the pellet gun. You will have to give it some sort of rating like Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good or Excellent so I can set a value. See the link below for all the owners manual and parts manuals made by Crosman.

How much is a hawthorne m-130 pellet gun worth?

Hawthorne was a brand name used by WARDS for their airguns. I believe all of their airguns were made by CROSMAN air gun company. They also made air guns for Sears and Western auto. I think your M130 is a Crosman model 130. that would be an underlever pump pistol made between 1953-1970. It a single shot .22 caliber pellet pistol. If I am right you can find the owners manual at the LINK Below. As for value. You will have to give it some rating like Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good, Or Excellent or NEW IN BOX. to get an estimate of value.

What is the value of a Hawthorn M180 pellet gun?

If I were to ask you the value of a 57 Chevy without giving you any description about the vehicle, You would have a hard time answering the question. It is the same with air guns. You have not provided any information about the condition of the Hawthorne, so I can't answer your question. If you want an answer then give it some sort of rating, like, it is in (Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good or Excellent) condition. Also does it still hold air. The Hawthorne model M180 was made by Crosman and is a "Crosman model 180"

How do you identify a pellet rifle?

A pellet rifle has no firing pin. It also can not fire a bullet or gunpowder. It can not be made to do so either. The pellet has no charge (casing like a bullet) it just a pellet. However pellet rifles can be just as deadly as a real firearm. They use Air or C02 to project the pellet downrange. Some Pellet rifles are used for hunting, others for target practice. The Major difference between a firearm and an air rifle, is Gunpowder is use in Firearms and Air or C02 is used in Air rifles.

Why does pellet feed float?

Pellet feed contains air in the pellet. Also, the density of the pellet is lighter than water, thus enabling it to float on the surface of water.

What is the value model 312 pellet gum with brass barrel?

I'm going to try to answer your question, but first I need to clarify something:You do mean Pellet gun not Pellet gum. You did not state the manufactures name so I think you mean "Benjamin 312 Pellet rifle."Now all you need to do is verify you meant "Benjamin 312 pellet rifle" and let me know the current condition of this rifle. Also state if it still holds air and is working condition. Then I can give you and estimate of value

What is stronger a air rifle or a air pistol?

In general, an air rifle will drive a pellet faster, since the longer barrel permits the pellet to be pushed for a longer time.

Does a pellet have to be in the chamber for a Crosman 140 to fire?

The rifle will fire without a pellet, but over time it will ruin the air chamber and air piston inside the chamber. When you pull the trigger the air piston slides forward inside the air chamber compressing the air behind the pellet. At the last moment it actually slows down as the pressure builds and fires the pellet. Without a pellet in the loading port the piston has no resistance and just slams against the stop. This will eventually ruin the rifle.

Can you use air soft in a pellet gun?
