This is really a cool revolver. It was made between 1960 an 1981. In Excellent condition it is worth around $130 and you can add 10% to 15% for the original box. There was also a solid Brass 179 model that is so rare that it precludes accurate pricing, it weighed 2.7 lbs
Given a number, if you can find another number (usually smaller than the given number) when multiplied by itself yields the original given number then the original given number is a perfect square number
A number is perfect if all it's factors (barring itself) sum to make the original number. In this case, the factors of 28 are 1,2,4,7 and 14. Added up, these equal 28. Thus, 28 is a perfect number.
A perfect number is one with factors (apart from itself) that sum to give the original number. An abundant number is one where this sum is greater than the original number. A deficient number is one where the sum is less than the original number. The factors of 75 are 1, 3, 5, 15 and 25. The sum of these numbers is 49. Thus 75 is a deficient number.
1. List all factors of number (including 1 and the number, list each factor only once even if it goes in multiple times) 2. Add up all the factors 3. If the sum is equal to twice the original number, then the original number is perfect, if not, it is not perfect.
"Still" implies that the original number is a square number. In that case, the answer is as follows: There is no number such that it is a perfect sqiuare and that the number increased (or decreased) by 10 is also a perfect square. And if you do not limit it to perfect square then every non-negative number is a square with the number that is 10 more also being a square.
A perfect number is a number with factors (excluding itself) that add up to the original number. An abundant number is where this sum is greater than the original number. A deficient number is where the sum is less than the original number. In the case of 24, the factors are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24. Summing the factors (apart from 24) gives us 1+2+3+4+6+8+12 which equals 36. This is greater than 24, the original number, and so 24 is an abundant number.
This was one of the many store brand names used by Crescent Arms. Your gun is worth no more than $150, in perfect original condition.
Depending on condition, 150 to 350 dollars. Possibly 450 dollars in perfect condition with low number serial.
If unfired, the rifle is valued at 895 dollars in the condition that you describe.
Impossible to answer without the serial number and a detailed description of all markings, condition, finish, barrel length, box, accessories, papers, etc..
Condition (as in in original condition without modifications) will play a major role in the value of your Eddystone. An original condition rifle in Very Good shape would retail for around $800-$900.
