Perazzi shotgun
AnswerShotguns don't have sights. Just a bead at the front of the barrel. Incorrect. Some shotguns do just have a bead at the muzzle's end ... but, shotguns do indeed have aiming sights available. Typically, a shotgun designed to shoot rifled slugs will have conventional, adjustable iron sights with the rear sight mounted in the area above the trigger & and a blade sight ... sometimes with a colored line on the front sight. A typical name for shotgun sights is called Ghost Ring Sights. It came standard on my Mossberg 500 12 Ha. Shotgun.
The one in the front is called the "Front Sight". The one in the back is called the "Rear Sight".

Tap it gently. that's all it takes! This is from the manual: Your rifle has been sighted-in and test-fired at the factory. Due to individual shooting characteristics, however, sighting should be range verified. 1.) Vertical Correction (Elevation) To raise the point of impact, raise the rear sight, by moving the sight elevator rearward. To lower the point of impact, lower the rear sight, by moving the sight elevator forward. The sight can be raised and lowered by moving the stepped elevator forward and back with your thumb. To move the point of impact to the left, tap the rear sight base to the left. To move the point of impact to the right, tap the rear sight base to the right. Windage adjustments to the rear sight can be made by gently tapping the dovetail portion of the rear sight in the desired direction.
Factory sights? The rear sight elevation is accomplished by gently lifting the back of the rear sight and sliding the ribbed elevator back or forward to raise or lower the impact of the bullet. Move the rear sight in the direction you want the bullet to go. Up for higher, down for lower. The windage( left or right) is accomplished by drifting the rear sight in its dovetail slot with a hammer and brass drift punch. Put duct tape on the sight or use a small piece of leather between the punch and the sight to prevent damage.. go slowly, a little movement of the sight moves the bullet a lot at 100 yds. Move the rear sight in the direction you want the bullet to go. On some rifles, the front sight insert can be moved side to side in its base. A special tool called a sight pusher prevents damage to the small insert. You move the front sight the opposite of the way you want the bullet to go.
