What is the value of model 1897 16 gauge pump Winchester serial number 483541?

Your Winchester model 1897 pump action shotgun which was made in the year 1911,will bring between 150-350 dollars. This is because your early 16 gauge was chambered in 2 9/16in shell length instead of the current 2 3/4in length. This change happened about 1927.The early length shells are no longer produced, which affects the value of your shotgun.

What kind of shells can you use in a Winchester model 37 12 gauge with a full choke and 30 barrel?

Any 12 gauge shell made with a length of 2 3/4in.I would not use steel shot shells in your model 37 though. You can also use brenneke slugs in your shotgun also.

How can you find out if your Winchester model 1200 is a 3 in or 2 34 in receiver?

Check the stamping in the barrel. The chambering will be stamped into the barrel along with the Winchester Logo, the model number and the choke. If the gun doesn't say 3" or "magnum load" shells on it, It was made before there was such a thing as 3" shells. It's chambered for the 2 1/2 inch shell. (A 2 3/4" shell actually only measures 2 1/2", that extra 1/4 inch is the length of the crimp when it's folded out. 2 3/4 and 2 1/2 are the same shell)

What length shells will a Remington model 11 shoot and eject?
