It is a shotgun shell.
Yes as long as you get one made for the Winchester model 1300 and chambered for the same length of shotgun shell that the receiver is chambered for.

I do not believe that Winchester ever made a 9mm shotgun, although 9mm "snakeshot" ammo, comprised of tiny pellets and looking lot a shotgun shell exists. Do you perhaps mean 9 guage?
Remington makes a model which does.
The Ted Williams Sears and Roebuck shotgun, typically modeled after the Winchester 1200, generally holds 3 rounds in the magazine plus 1 in the chamber, for a total of 4 shells. However, the exact capacity may vary depending on the specific model and any modifications made. Always refer to the owner's manual or manufacturer's specifications for accurate information.
Your Winchester model 1897 pump action shotgun which was made in the year 1911,will bring between 150-350 dollars. This is because your early 16 gauge was chambered in 2 9/16in shell length instead of the current 2 3/4in length. This change happened about 1927.The early length shells are no longer produced, which affects the value of your shotgun.
