The moisture difference between Wood floors and wood sub floors would be 4%

Plywood sub floors are about 12 to 13% here in Northern Calif. and the wood flooring is usually from 7-9 % .Now of coarse moisture and RH plays into the picture too. The ocean & lake areas may have a greater % of moisture in their wood sub floors due to greater RH
