We should eat a balanced diet. A diet that contains the right amount of carbohydrates, proteins and fats along with adequate amounts of water, minerals and vitamins is called a balanced diet. Nutrients are present in different amounts in different foods and hence we should consume different types of food to get proper nutrition.
