It is rated at 200 FPS
The marksman model 740 is rated at 425 fps.
The Marksman 2002 Repeater is rated at 250 FPS.
Unfortunately this rifle is not worth repairing. In Excellent condition it is worth $18. It has an FPS of 250 FPS. That's slower than a Daisy Red Ryder. I really suggest you purchase a new air rifle. These air guns were not designed to be repaired. Marksman is owned by Beeman. If you want to try I suggest you call Marksman at 800-822-8005
The Marksman BB 2020 Buddy rifle is rated at 300 FPS
200 Feet Per Second (FPS)
The Marksman 20xx series of BB rifles are all rated at 300 Feet Per Second. (FPS) This will make them fairly accurate to around 30 to 40 feet after that they began to fall off. Their is no current record as to how far the BB travels.
Marksman doesn't list the cocking effort but believe me it's very little. The pistol only fires a 220 FPS and that is slow.
No It is not a repeater , you must re cock and and hand load a pellet after each shot!
To load a Marksman 1790 series pellet rifle, first ensure the rifle is pointed in a safe direction and the safety is engaged. Open the breech by breaking the barrel down, then insert a .177 caliber pellet into the breech with the pellet’s skirt facing the barrel. Close the barrel securely until it locks in place, and then disengage the safety before taking your shot. Always follow safety precautions and manufacturer's instructions when handling the rifle.
