Brindle is the color, so that doesn't have any bearing. Both breeds share a lot of characteristics as far as temperament. A Pit Bull is more possessive on average and may not get along with other animals as well. A lab tends to be more laid back so that could calm the Pit down some. Of course you have no way of knowing what you will get when you mix breeds. Any dog can be aggressive depending on how it is raised. Pits are great dogs if they are raised right.
A Labit or Pit/lab is a cross between a Pit Bull terrier and a Labadore retriever. Brindles are common to the pits but not so common in Labs. . to be a brindle several things have to happen within the genetic make up.
