The model 11 is a bolt action clip, the model 12 is a bolt action magazine tube, and the model 66 is a autoloader (also a magazine tube).
The 11 and 12 were made from 62-65 the 66 was made from 59-89.
it looks like in the blue book that the mod.# is nylon 66
Remington didn't make a model 55 rifle, nylon or otherwise. Autoloader, lever, or Bolt, Clip or Tub, letters on left side of barrel?
The difference between nylon and dacron rope is that nylon stretch but dacron dose not!
The Remington nylon 10s were made (1962-1964) before serial numbers were required (1968)and I think all of them were made without a SN.
The last year of production for the Remington model nylon model 66 was 1990.These rifles were made from 1959-1990 with a total production of 1,050,336.
The Nylon 66 is a rifle that was made by Remington from 1959 to 1989. The brown and chrome model was Nylon 66MB and over 700,000 were produced.
If it is the brown color then around $175.
