Opadry II is just a better version of Opadry. Opadry II has a longer shelf life, is cheaper to manufacture etc etc. When Opadry was first invented, it had something like a 3 year legal bind connected to it that meant that no other companies could produce it within that time. However, when that time was up other companies looked to sell the same Opadry just at a cheaper price etc and therefore become bigger in the market.
