Best thing to do is to ask a gunsmith for help.
Check out this web site for your answer. http://bryco-jennings-jimenezarms.com/index.html If your question is, does Bryco model 38 or model 380 have a firing pin....then yes it does or when it was made.
Use this link:http://pdf.textfiles.com/manuals/FIREARMS/jennings_380.pdfThe Jennings and Bryco are made by the same company. Do yourself a favor, save up and buy a real gun. It's better than nothing, I guess, but not by much.

50-100 USD
Bryco Arms was founded in the wake of the Gun Control Act of 1968, which effectively banned the further importation of cheap pistols commonly referred to as "Saturday Night Specials". They're made to be cheap and somewhat crude, and intended for people who maybe can't afford to buy a $400 or more handgun.

$50-$80. Low cost firearm, company no longer in business.
$75-$100, depending on condition. Low cost firearm of indifferent quality.
Any revolver. As for semi auto pistols, the 'Ring of Fire' guns (Lorcin, Raven, Jennings, Bryco, Jiminez, etc.) are designed to use cheap ammo. The Ruger pistols are pretty tolerant as far as ammo goes, as well.
