Both of these rifles are similar to each other. Here is the difference. The Viper cost about $30 more and is designed for hunting. The Shadow is designed for small game hunting and plinking targets. The Viper has a lifetime warranty and the Shadow has a 1 year warranty. The Viper is a little more accurate than the Shadow. Both fire at 750FPS, have a 2 stage trigger and are spring piston driven. So for $30 more you get a little better rifle in the Viper.
