Value is too difficult to be accurate without seeing the gun. Condition which includes the amount of original finish and original configuration will determine value. Auto 5's with recoil pads (other than Mag 12's) poly-chokes and compensators will reduce value. Your extra barrels will increase the value, but the barrel addresses need to match. Recommend taking it to a gun shop for appraisal
They tell you what the barrel(s) is/are choked. One-full, Two=Modified, Three = Cylinder.

No. Not recommended. The barrel walls are not fit for screw in chokes. Belgian A-5 barrels that had that procedure done in the 60's and 70's were mostly unsuccesful. The barrels ended up being cut down or discarded. Aftermarket screw in chokes worked well with the Over/Under Browning guns, but not the Automatics. It's recommended to purchase a Japanese made barrel (with invector chokes) and have it fitted to your Belgian gun.
The barrel will be marked "Made in Belgium"
Depends on what gauges the extra barrels are, barrel length, overall condition, age, accessories, etc.. Range could be from a few hundred to multiple thousands in USD.
Good Question This is on the older Belgian barrels. "16" stands for the guage which is a 16ga. "65" stands for the length of the chamber. In this case: 65mm = 2 9/16"
Slug barrels were not made for auto 5's until 1962. These newer barrels will work, but need to be fitted. You may find a slug barrel for a 16ga on gunbroker.com either Belgian or Japanese, but you will need a qualified gunsmith to fit it to your gun.
There are several Companies that make barrels that will fit your Browning. In order to keep the integrity of the gun, it would be best to find an original Belgian made barrel with the proper markings. You can find a good assortment on the gunbroker.com website, but they do get pricey. Remember the barrel you want is a 16ga with three holes drilled through the barrel band - this is the sweet 16 barrel. For 1963, the barrel should read: BROWNING ARMS Co. St. LOUIS Mo. and MONTREAL PQ. These barrels are for 1959 guns through 1968. Serial numbers do not matter.
Belgian proofmarks, year of manufacture, barrel inscription. == ==
This is most likely a Hi Power and almost any Hi Power barrel will fit it. Barrels are available from GunPartsCorp, Barstow, Brownells, and many other sources. Some minor gunsmithing may be required or a high accuracy barrel
The barrel exchange will be your best bet if you called browning this is the place they would refer you to. They are located in Ga.
