I had this happen to me about three weeks ago, it was seriously scary, because i was going to see my parents and they don't know nor do they agree. I ended up having to use a bobby pin by opening it then wedging the ball. I assume pliers would be better. Oh and remember righty tighty, lefty loosey. Michael forgot that and I had to practically cut a lip ring off him... not a pretty sight.
It probably won't but it can. Your piercer should put the ball in there pretty tight but if the ball does pop out the ring could slip out.
Yeah. Some tongue ring balls are pretty big and may look tacky on lip rings.
twist the ball you may have been given a BCR in which case you'll need pliers to open the ring to take the ball out.
Use a pair of clean, non-slip gloves for better grip and carefully grab the ball of the lip ring with one hand while holding the lip ring in place with the other. Twist the ball counter-clockwise to unscrew it from the lip ring. Be careful not to apply too much pressure or force to avoid causing discomfort or damage to your lip.
Most lip rings are in the shape of a hoop and have a ball as a closure. Simply take the ball off and gently work the space in the hoop to the hole. (if the ring is too small you may have to bend the hoop a bit to make it larger)
It can be tricky. You'll need ring closers. If you only have pliers, wrap some medical tape around them so that you don't scratch the ring. My explanation might be difficult to understand so maybe search youtube for tutorials. -before you put it in your lip, tighten or open the ring just enough so that the ball will pop in and out easily-there are dimples on the ball -put the ring in your piercing then slip the ball into place - tighten the ring so that the ball doesn't slip out -the end :3
Try turning the ring to get the ball out. If the skin has grown over the ball, go to your piercer. The ring just might be too small. Try doing it after a shower or soak with warm water.
Either it isn't screwed on tight enough or if its a captive ball ring, the ring isn't tight enough. So either use pliers to squeeze the ring tighter or screw it on.
It just pulls off. There are 2 indentations on either side of the ball that the ends of the hoop fit into.
not all rings with balls have to screw on, it depends what typre you're talking about some times i get the confusion when some wank stain calls a stud a ring, guessing that its a ring, its not always a screw on ring, my lip ring you clip the ball in, there is a hole running through the ball and out the other side and you put one side of the hole on one side of the ring and clip in the other side. hope this helped, next time ask the person who sells it.
Lip ring is not a compound word.
Yes it's called a lip ring.
