If you start while still taking active pills to you continue with the active ones or switch to the sugar pills?

Keep taking your pills all in order-do not skip any active pills...did you miss any pills -sometimes that can cause you to start your period early...also-maybe put a call in to your doc- if you didn't miss any pills, you shouldn't start your period while still taking active pills

Can you still have your period if you do not take the sugar pills?

Yes, you can still have a period even if you skip the sugar pills in your birth control pack. This bleeding is not a true menstrual period but rather withdrawal bleeding due to the hormonal changes from stopping active pills.

What if you already started trying to double up on the pills you missed and still have one extra pill after taking 2 pills for next 2 days then started period?

When do you start a new pack of birth control pills if you stopped in the middle of the previous pack and missed 3 pills then started period?

Are you not supposed to get a period while on the pill?

You should still get a period each month while on birth control. You will usually start your period during the week that you take your placebo pills, because they have no hormones in them. If you skip the placebo pills and start your active pills instead, this will delay your period.

You started taking your pills before you were sapposed to and still have your period is this bad should you stop the pills?

Ask your doctor or go to webmd.com to ask.

What is the difference between the white and green birth control pills?

The white pills are inactive hormones which is when you're off your period. And the green pills are active hormones and these you usually take when you are going through your period. But its still okay if you're not on you're period during the green pills cause the pills could make you a little bit late on you're period.

Is it okay if you started your pills before you started your period you were supposed to take them when you started does it make you miss your period that month and is it still effective?

It's fine. Use a backup method of birth control for the first seven days.

What should you except if you have started your on the last day of your sugar pills and still haven't started your period?

dont stress, stress makes you late if you're on the pill or not

You dindt start taking your birth control pills until the 2nd Tuesday after your period Will you still get your period after you take the first 21 pills?

Hello. You will get your period after the 21 days. There is a 7 day break in the pills - this is when you will get your period. Or no later than a week after the 7day break. It will be around 4 weeks exactly after you started taking BCP.

Missed a few pills period started early what now?

Get back on the pill and use a back up method until you have taken 7 pills in 7 days. If you were more than half way through the packet you were taking skip the inactive pills in the packet and go straight to the active pills in your next packet. If you were still in the first week just start taking the pills as if you had not missed any, but you will still need to use back up BC until you have taken 7 pills in 7 days.

Instead of having my period can I go on to the next pack of pills?

YES! the period every 28 days is arbitrary. you may have some breakthrough bleeding when you continuously take the active pills but it is safe to do so and still provides effective birth control.

I usually don't get my period till the second or third sugar pill. It's normal.
