If you took your Birth Control correctly and didn't have withdrawal bleeding during the pill-free week, there is probably no need for concern. Hormonal birth control can lighten the amount of flow to the point that there is no bleeding. If you did not take your birth control correctly, or are experiencing symptoms of pregnancy, take a test to make sure.
I stopped taking my birth control in December and in January I came on my period but in february I didnt come is this normal
Yes, if you start the birth control patch mid-cycle, your period will be a bit later than you expected.
Yes its ok to take your birth control pills as normal. You really didnt need to take a EC hun. BCP protects you against pregnancy. Because you took EC your period may be early or later than planned.
It's very unlikely but if you do not wish to become pregnant you should always use a condom and/or a reliable birth control method.
Did you take a pregnancy test? If in the unlikely scenario that you AREN'T pregnant, it will take a few months for the pills to re-schedule your hormones. That is why you are supposed to begin taking it immediately after a period. Because it works on your body's schedule. It may be somewhat effective after a few weeks, but not fully for a few months. Birth does not work as an abortion method, so if that's what you were going for, you are still pregnant.
I had the same problem, I got my period then it didnt come back for 6 months. after that now it wont go away. It has to do with the hormone ballance. If your really concerned try talking to your doctor, They will most likely talk to you about birth control for an answer. But remember just because you are on birth control doesnt give you a free for all.
Your period was just probally late, if you where pregnant you would not of started at all.
Your Fiance is either already pregnate or she is taking some type of birth control.
I was pregnant and i didnt know about it. And usually birth control makes you bloat. Well come to find out i was pregnant. So dont ever let anyone tell you that birth control is 100% effective. it depends on your body and how your body reacs to the b/c. THanks Viktoria New Orleans
i started taking the birth control and i waited about a month and a week to have unprotected sex since my school nurse told me wait a month until i could do that. so i slept over at my boyfriends house one night and he came inside of me then again the next morning, my problem is that i forgot my bag with my birth control in it at his house and didnt get to go back there until the fallowing week. once i got my bag back i stated taking my bills again right away but im still really worried that i might be pregnant cause my period is a week late :s HELPPPP
The husband is presumed to be the father of any children conceived/born during the marriage, unless/until proven otherwise.
Forget about it. Continue taking your pills as normal (don't take the missed pill). If you are actually worried about pregnancy, don't be too concerned. Your period will probably take care of things naturally.
