a .454 will do it or a .50 also a .45 will work but, i use a .357mag got 3 bear with it. the grizzly i took with it took 3 shots but he was charging CLOSE and i kinda got trigger happy. think the second shot did him in. he was around 1000lbs he fell 50ft from me was the greatest and most expensive hunting trip i had.
i would love to go lion hunting in Africa some day ill use a 300mag rifle for that and cary my taurus .454 also lots of other things want to eat u in africa lol
