I am a 30 year old female, and I'm going to give you the best advice I can based on when I was a teen. Look, teen girls are not going to be straight forward about this stuff. She probably isn't sure she likes you, or if she wants to tell you she likes you. Don't try to make sense of it.

Here is what you do: don't talk to her for about two weeks. Don't make a big deal out of it, just don't hang around her. Then, after two weeks, ask a different girl to do something non-romantic. Ask her to be partners on a science project, or to study together, anything that is 'just friends.' Don't ask a girl who you get nervous around. Word will get back to the girl you like and if she likes you back, she will start talking to you and trying to hang around you. She probably still won't say she likes you back, so try making a move by holding her hand. I know this is REALLY corny, but you can get away with it at school (just don't be obvious) and chicks dig it. Listen, I'm a chick, and CHICKS DIG CORNY HAND HOLDING. Think of it as the 'gateway' move.
